I swear the judge was foaming at the mouth. I remember the judge telling him that he was going to be held in contempt. The judge then looked down at me and asked angrily why I was laughing. I explained that I was laughing because I thought he was an idiot for thinking just because I served in the military that some how we all were conspiring to take away his rights. I also apologized for laughing. I was dismissed and the prosecutor finished with the other witnesses. Our kook was found guilty and was sentenced to 20 years in prison and ordered to pay for all the damages he caused.

An elderly lady was obviously downsizing and had a table full of very nice objects for sale. I liked two or three of the I’m dreaming of a maskless Christmas shirt but in fact I love this items. One was a Georgian Wedgwood pot. When I asked the price she gave a cost that was expensive for a car boot sale, but ridiculously cheap for the pot. I told her it was too cheap but she insisted that she wanted me to have it for her price. I felt so guilty that I couldn’t face buying anything else from her stall, although I would have liked to. The guilt killed my desire to continue at the car boot sale and I went home, pot safely stored on the floor of the car. Some months later, I moved my parents into my home because they needed significant support.
