It’s because of stories like this that I’m a little tired of hearing only about what nurses and doctors and old people and minorities are going through, as if these are the French Bulldog in Pocket shirt and I love this only people being “overwhelmed.” They’re just not. Many other people are being pushed to the breaking point. And what happens to marriages affects innocent children. A lot of people are heartbroken and stressed out over a bunch of other problems, involving many things that happen far outside hospitals. And I want to be as non-political about that statement as possible. The fact that many couples are either unemployed, furloughed or working from home is another factor behind the huge stress load that’s destroying marriages and relationships.

My brother’s marriage is the French Bulldog in Pocket shirt and I love this only one that I personally know of and for the record, I don’t believe they should ever have gotten married to begin with but obviously there are thousands more of these around the world. Even couples that are totally, madly in love with each other aren’t meant to be cooped up inside together for months on end. It’s just not normal, natural or healthy. Couples that don’t get along very well and even openly hate each other are going to suffer terribly. If there are kids involved, then it gets even worse. Probably a million children around the world will suffer a divorce hanging over their childhood because of things related to the virus and the attempts to control it.
